Judges
Every year, over 140 judges from universities, colleges, businesses and industries volunteer their time to judge the projects and provide valuable feedback to the students at the WWSEF.
We need you on the day of the Fair from 8:45 am until noon.
In addition to the judging of the projects, time at the regional fair gives opportunities for the students to demonstrate their projects to each other and to the general public, and to participate in science related educational activities or presentations.
If you are interested in becoming a judge, please contact our Judge-in-Chief, Stefan Idziak, at judging@wwsef.ca.
Safety Team
The Safety Team makes sure that the participants follow our rules for setting up and displaying their projects.
We need you on the day of the Fair from 7:00 am until approximately 9:30 am.
If you are interested in being on our safety team, please contact the team head, Steve Seifried safety@wwsef.ca
Program Chaperones
Your responsibilities are to “herd” participants to their buses and be with them as they tour various program facets. Our kids are well behaved, so this is not an onerous task.
We need you on the day of the Fair from 12:30 until about 4:30 pm.
If you are interested in being a chaperone, please contact our program organizer, Louis Silcox, at
